Emmys 2009 Red on the Red Carpet

Emmy Style 2009

Is it a coincidence that the red carpet season comes so soon after New York Fashion week? Perhaps it is however, one cant deny the fact that our favorite stars have the opportunity to view the newest fashions right before their very eyes prior to strutting their stuff on the red carpet. That being said the stars and stylists have an opportunity to take what they have seen at fashion week and translate it into their own style in time for the Emmys. This is a great cycle because now we as the general public have the opportunity to take what they have worn on the red carpet and put it into our closets. So, based on what we saw yesterday one thing that is definite is the fact that red prevailed as the colors of choice.

The following offers a few examples of gowns in red.

 Sigourney Weaver in David Meister
Jennifer Morrison in Calvin Klein
Hayden Panettiere in J Mendel

    Mila Kunis in Monique Lhuillier
 Toni Collette in Monique Lhuillier

As we can see red was all over the carpet. When integrating red into your fall wardrobe remember that red draws attention, and immediately stimulates people. For some of you that is great news so go for it, don it from head to toe. For those of you who do not want that much attention try wearing red in your accessories with a scarf, handbag, jewelry, etc. Another thing to pay attention to is what shade of red will work best for your coloring especially if it is worn close to your face. 1. Veronica Hearst is a self made lady who has been an ideal for many. The reason of her success has been her devotion in her work. She is a socialite and works for many different charitable causes. Her sown to earth nature is what is respected and idealized by any people who look at her and who have worked with her.
